RidgePoint Construction was founded in 2023 by Peter and Mariluz, bringing together decades of experience from different industries and a shared commitment to quality workmanship. Peter spent much of his career working in power generation facilities across multiple countries, while Mariluz has dedicated much of her professional life to the construction industry, leading construction companies and managing numerous projects in Colombia. Today, RidgePoint Construction remains a family-owned company led by Peter, Mariluz, and Sebastian. With a background in Business Administration, Sebastian oversees the company's administrative and financial operations. Our goal is simple: to deliver quality projects, clear communication, and a service our clients can trust.
You contact RidgePoint through one of our communication channels (email, online request, or phone call), and a site visit is scheduled.
During the visit, we will discuss the project you would like to undertake, take measurements and photos, and gather all the information needed to prepare your quote.
After the visit, our team will prepare your quote and send it to your email within approximately one week.
Once the quote is complete, we will email it to you so you can review it at your convenience.
If you have any questions, need clarification, or would like to make adjustments to the project scope, our team will be available to help before you make a final decision.
If you decide to move forward with RidgePoint, we will contact you and agree on the details needed to begin your project.
We will email you the contract, which you must sign to begin the process. You will also receive an invoice for a deposit equal to 50% of the project value. The deposit is required before scheduling can begin.
Once we receive the signed contract and deposit, we will coordinate the project schedule.
The start date will depend on crew availability, material delivery, weather conditions, and other factors that may affect the work.
Our team will keep you informed of the estimated start date and any important updates before work begins.
During construction, our team will perform the work according to the scope approved in the quote and contract.
If any additional work or changes to the original scope arise during construction, we will discuss them with you before proceeding.
At the end of construction, our team will conduct a final walkthrough with you to review the project, confirm that the agreed-upon scope has been completed, and check the general condition of the work area.
If any outstanding items or minor adjustments are identified, they will be included on a punch list.
The punch list is a list of final items that must be completed or corrected before the project can be formally closed.
Once the work has been approved by both our team and the client, we will send an invoice for the remaining 50% of the project value.
After final payment is received, the project will be considered closed.
